Welcome!

We are UB DivTech (prev UB Scientista), a club at University at Buffalo that aims to empower diversity in technology. We emphasize in providing equal opportunities to all individuals in technology, but also welcome students from all majors. We promote diversity in tech by ensuring equality of access to opportunities such as internships, scholarships, hackathons and conferences. We work closely with the UB CSE department to advocate for more visibility and resources in building a strong, cohesive network of individuals in tech that can act as one strong voice.

Our Mission

We seek to empower underrepresented demographics majoring in Computer Science and Engineering by providing a robust campus community, online resources and opportunities, and a network of talented role models.
